BREAKING: WCRA Extends $1M Opportunity To Youth Athletes
Nov 21, 2019The World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) announced in a press release today the creation of their Youth Division that will give young competitors the opportunity to not only compete in their own league, but also have a chance to qualify for the $1 Million Major events. Starting December 2, 2019 youth aged 13 and up competing in girls breakaway roping, barrel racing, team roping heading and heeling, tie-down roping, and steer wrestling can begin to nominate rodeos in the Virtual Rodeo Qualifier (VRQ) through Division Youth (DY).

Nov 19, 2019“I’ll just look it up on my phone on the way to the rodeo which rodeos I’m going to and put in the dates,” said Paden Bray about nominating rodeos in the World Champion Rodeo Alliance’s (WCRA) Virtual Rodeo Qualifier app. “I’m going to this rodeo on Thursday, this rodeo on Friday and the next one on Saturday and just plan it out. Then it’s just an additional entry fee when you nominate whatever rodeos you want to nominate.”

WCRA Announces $5 Million Schedule For 2020
Jul 11, 2019The group that has paid rodeo athletes more than $4.5 million since it’s launch in May of 2018 already promises to put more money in the pockets of competitors next year. In a press release today, the WCRA announced their 2020 schedule that includes $5,000,000 in prize money for competitors between four million-dollar events, and three semi-finals.
