Kyle Irwin: A Great Horse, Competing With Great Friends, And A Great Future With $100,000 To Spend
Kyle Irwin says he has "champagne taste on a beer budget", but we also think he's pretty rich in horsepower, friends, family, and now - thanks to his $100,000 check - even more opportunities ahead of him. Irwin took home the 2019 Calgary Stampede title with a run of 3.8 seconds in the final four round today, but while the money will help him a lot, the experience seems to be the best part of the day for him.

The combo of Lisa Lockhart and that handsome buckskin Louie will always be timeless, but after Lockhart won the 2019 Calgary Stampede title in Rosa - winning over Hailey Kinsel by just three one-thousandths of a second - the humble cowgirl says this one was special.
'I Had A Peace & A Calm Over Me' - Sage Kimzey Wins 4th Calgary Stampede Title
Fans and judges alike we're shocked when Sage Kimzey scored a 78.5 in the ten-man round at the Calgary Stampede and decided to forego his re-ride. Kimzey said for some reason he was at peace with the score and decided to keep it. The decision - whatever caused it - paid off with Kimzey's fourth Calgary Stampede title with a score of 92.5 points aboard Calgary's Night Moves in the four-man showedown.

A Shorter Rope, Deja Vu, & Families In The Stands: Shiozawa And Moore At Calgary
Both shortened their ropes. Both Made it through Wildcard Saturday - just like they did together last year. Both have their families cheering for them in the grandstands. Matt Shiozawa and Timber Moore have that "twinning factor" going on at the Calgary Stampede and luckily for them, that means they're both winning. Shiozawa and Moore had matching times of 7.0 to move on to Championship Sunday from the Wildcard round at Calgary today.

Championship Sunday Bound! Clements And Stemo Top The Field In The Bareback At Calgary
Twelve competitors. Sudden Death. A rank pen of horses. That's what Wildcard Saturday at the Calgary Stampede is always about for the bareback riders and Mason Clements and Jake Stemo were able to weather the storm to move on to Championship Sunday. Clements scored 87 points on Calgary Stampede's "Witless Margie", while Stemo was No. 1 on the day with his score of 88-points aboard Big Stone Rodeo's "Gold Dust".
