Two Years After His Accident, Bird Is On The Hunt For Another Canadian Title

Bird's New Perspective On Winning

He won the coveted Canadian tie-down roping title in 2017, becoming the first Canadian to win the event since Al Bouchard took the title in 2009. But shortly after winning Canada's highest rodeo honor, Bird was in a car accident that could have taken his life.

True champions never take their focus off of their goals though. When we interviewed Bird just a couple weeks after the accident (Read the story HERE) he had already set goals to get back into competing shape.

Now, nearly two years later and two more Canadian Finals Rodeo qualifications under his belt since the accident, you can bet Bird is going after the goal of winning another Canadian title.
