Diane Skocdopole Back In Contention For The Canadian Finals Rodeo

For a little while I was looking like 2017 CPRA Rookie of the Year Diane Skocdopole might not make it back to the Canadian Finals Rodeo this year, but she had a plan. Skocdopole was saving her firecracker mare "Sonic" for the fall indoor pens and was hoping a last-minute push would get her to Red Deer.

At No. 17 in the current Canadian Standings, Skocdopole still has some catching up to do, but after her 15.858-second run put her in the No. 5 spot at the Armstrong IPE & Stampede with one night in the long go left, the plan seems to be coming together.
