'The Best Mud You've Ever Ran In' - Ivy Conrado On The Grounds Crew At Calgary Stampede

Conrado Conquers Mud At Calgary

She calls herself a "wimp" when it comes to the mud, but Ivy Conrado - who says she tends to turn out if the ground conditions become muddy - made it happen on day one at the Calgary Stampede. Conrado and her nine-year-old mare JLO (KN Fabs Gift of Fame) - who she says has never even loped a circle in the mud before, let alone run at one of the highest-paying rodeos in the world - took the day one victory with their time of 17.57.
