First Time's The Charm For Steer Wrestler Josh Garner At Rodeo Houston

The Rodeo Houston rookie took the title this year in the steer wrestling. Josh Garner strung together a 4.5- and 4.6-second run in the long round and four-man rounds, respectively, during the Rodeo Houston finals today to win the championship in his very first trip to H-Town. 

The Live Oak, California, native earned $57,000 and should be moving from the No. 38 spot in the standings to easily sit within the top five in the world when the standings are updated.
