Scott Schiffner says the feeling right before he nods his head is a peaceful “calm before the storm” moment for him. With the 2018 Canadian Finals Rodeo just two weeks away, it’s also the calm before that six-round storm.

For Schiffner—who announced he would be retiring at the end of the 2018 rodeo season—he will also be in the eye of that storm he's so comfortable in for the last time.
