'I'm Running My Own Race' - Trey Benton Talks Competition

Trey Benton Talks Competition

Trey Benton III, a four-time WNFR qualifier in the bull riding, took over the round lead at the Ponoka Stampede on the final day of long-round competition. His 88.75 point ride aboard Outlaw Bucker’s 96 Tennessee Whiskey has already earned the cowboy over $4,500, but he can gain a lot more in the finals and showdown today to go to the Canadian and World standings.

Brenton is sitting third in the world and is about $35,000 No. 2 and $90,000 behind world leader Sage Kimzey, but he explains that you have to “run your own race”.
