Honoring 4-Legged Athletes: The Equine Outfit Of Excellence Awards

Talk to anyone who works in the world of chuckwagon racing and you'll find out just how much these animals mean to them. Whether it be a driver, outrider, or barn hand, they'll say these horses are a part of the family.

The World Professional Chuckwagon Association honors these equine athletes each year with the Equine Outfit Of Excellence Awards, giving the best horse in each position a chance to have their own spotlight.

Meet the 2019 champions below and watch them in action with full replays of the Century Downs World Finals by clicking HERE.

Interviews hosted by the creator of the Equine Outfit of Excellence Award, Eddie Melville. Melville spent 27 years as an outrider in the WPCA and is known as one of the most respected horsemen, outriders, and cowboys in the WPCA.
