The last stop on the Finning Pro Tour is a high-pressure situation with not only season points and dollars on the line, but the ever-elusive tour finals to try qualify for. The event in 2019 boasts a total of $187,000 in added money between the Finning Tour season rodeo and the finals, making it the final bid pay-day in the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association season before the Canadian Finals Rodeo qualifiers are decided.

They've been through a grueling season. Eight tour stops, weather conditions ranging from scorching heat to pounding rain, photo finishes, leaderboard changes, and it all comes down to this. 

With the final regular-season event in the World Professional Chuckwagon Association in the books, the stage has been set for the Century Downs World Finals at the Century Downs Racetrack and Casino in Rocky View County, Alberta, this week. The top 12 drivers in the world standings are eligible for the world title, with some close races ensuring it will be a photo finish right until the end.

The Dawson Creek committee and World Professional Chuckwagon Association have come together to extend the Battle Of The North races another day so chuckwagon fans can have a full four days of racing action.
