7 Houses

There are only seven houses in the hamlet of Teepee Creek.

10 Seconds

A tradition that started in the 1950s, the “Teepee Creek Terror” is a challenge where one cowboy gets on a nasty bronc and must ride it for not eight, but 10 seconds.

20 Residents

There are only about 20 residents in the hamlet as well.

1917

The event started in Teepee Creek back in 1917, meaning it's celebrating its 102nd anniversary in 2019.

12,519 Kilometers

As the crow flies, saddle bronc rider Lachlan Miller will be 12,519 kilometers from his hometown of Warwick, Australia, when he competes in Teepee Creek.

20,000 Fans

The small little town sees more than 20,000 fans attend the rodeo and concerts each year—that’s 1,000 times the population of the town!

$56,000

The purse for the major events at the 2019 Teepee Creek Stampede has increased to a total of $56,000 ($8,000 in each major event, $4000 for header, and $4000 for heeler).

Watch The 2019 USTRC National Finals Again

Millions of dollars are awarded in the team roping world every fall between the United States Team Roping Championship's National Finals Team Roping in Oklahoma City, OK and the World Series Of Team Roping Finale in Las Vegas, Nevada. We've already crowned the winners of the USTRC Finals, so before we head to Vegas to watch the second of the two major roping finals, we thought you might want to binge-watch the USTRC Finals again.

'All You Have To Do Is Put Your Name Down" - Bray On WCRA Nomination System

“I’ll just look it up on my phone on the way to the rodeo which rodeos I’m going to and put in the dates,” said Paden Bray about nominating rodeos in the World Champion Rodeo Alliance’s (WCRA) Virtual Rodeo Qualifier app. “I’m going to this rodeo on Thursday, this rodeo on Friday and the next one on Saturday and just plan it out. Then it’s just an additional entry fee when you nominate whatever rodeos you want to nominate.”

Scores Left To Settle: Guide To PBR Australia & Canada Finals

The 2019 PBR World Finals may have crowned its champion but there are still some major scores to settle in the world of bull riding before the year ends. The PBR Australia Finals kicks off this weekend and the PBR Canada Finals will follow next weekend to decide who reigns supreme in each of those countries.

Future Four-Legged Superstars: Watch The 2019 ABBI World Finals Futurity

Bull riders better be sucking their hat down tight and preparing to hang on to these future four-legged superstars someday. Watch the next generation of bucking bulls at the 2019 American Bucking Bull Inc. World Finals Futurity in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Replays: Mini Bull Riding & American Freestyle Bullfighting World Finals

Bull riders and bullfighters took over the city of Las Vegas, Nevada last week with many events going on around Sin City. While the "big boys" of the PBR took over the T-Mobile Arena for the PBR World Finals (watch full archives HERE), the Chris Shiver Mini Bull Riders and Short Gorham's American Freestyle Bullfighters took over the South Point Hotel & Casino for four days of their own world finals competition.

Durazo Wins Canadian Bull Riding Title

We asked Edgar Durazo from Moctezuma, Mexico to imagine what it would be like to win a Canadian title several times, but until it happened, he couldn't fully imagine how he would feel about winning the highest title in a country that he had called home for the past six years. He talked about the people that had welcomed him with open arms, the friendships he gained on the rodeo trail, the bulls he would have to conquer, but when the title was finally his, there was one thing he had to say about how it felt:

Hanchey Wins Fourth Canadian Title

The 2019 Canadian Finals Rodeo was not going the way it was supposed to for Shane Hanchey. The reigning, and three-time Canadian champion was struggling through his week in Red Deer, Alberta, and it didn't look like he would be taking home a fourth title this year.

2019 Canadian Champion: Brooke Wills

First time's the charm for the 2019 Canadian Champion Barrel Racer Brooke Wills who took home the title on her first trip to the Canadian Finals Rodeo in Red Deer, Alberta. Wills started off her rookie appearance at the CFR by knocking down two barrels, but the first-time jitters didn't last long.

Thurston Wins Canadian Title

He was the 2016 world champion, multi-time Calgary Stampede champion, he's won Houston, and just about any large rodeo you can think of, but he's been after the Canadian title since he was a kid and has finally checked his home country's highest honor off of his bucket list. Not only did Zeke Thurston win the 2019 Canadian Saddle Bronc Riding title, but he made sure of it by running away with the competition.

Canadian Champions Sherwood & Koch

They said before their last run at Westerner Park in Red Deer, Alberta that they might go for the arena record and - while they didn't break that particular record - they did break another at the 2019 Canadian Finals Rodeo: the single-season earnings record. The previous record was held by Levi Simpson and Jeremy Buhler who earned $59,006 between the regular-season and the finals in 2017, but Sherwood and Koch raised that bar substantially with their $74,616.07 and $76,728.86 respectively.
