Analysis:

Clay Elliott is a part of the 21st century’s version of Canadian saddle bronc riders that can dominate wherever they go. He just turned 24, and he’s already competed on sacred rodeo soil at events like Rodeo Houston, the Calgary Stampede, the Canadian Finals Rodeo, and the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.

The lanky talent from Nanton, Alberta, took home the Canadian title in 2016 and is on track again this year to do it again. He’s No. 1 in Canada, and he also finished seventh in the world and will head to his third straight WNFR.

Elliott is a quiet “talk low, talk slow, and don’t say too much” type, but his riding this year says everything you need to know about the cowboy. We’ll be looking for big scores and a potential second Canadian title from him this year.
