They're rank, they're unique, they're definitely a status symbol, and they're one of the only ways to distinguish a cowboy as they're riding. While there's plenty of clean-looking chaps out there, we've found some of the coolest, most outside-the-box chaps and compiled them here for a vote.

1. Shane Proctor - Louis Vuitton Chaps

Having chaps made from designer bags is a whole 'nother level of awesome. They even ended up in an edition of GQ magazine.

2. JR Verzain - Bucking on a Bucker Chaps

What's better than a bareback bronc rider with a bucking horse on his chaps? The answer is nothing. Absolutely nothing. Add some alligator and purple shimmery fringe and you've got a winner.

3. Keyshawn Whitehorse - Whitehorse Chaps

Keyshawn pays homage to his heritage and his last name with these gorgeous Native American-inspired chaps. 

4. Isaac Diaz - Clean Initials Chaps

They may not be not the flashiest chaps in our contest, but we're definitely partial to how clean and crisp these black and blue beauties are with Isaac's initials sewn in.

5. Jorge Valdiviezo - Bandito Chaps

The four-time Mexican national bull riding champion oftentimes sports a mustache that rivals his chaps. How's that for outfit coordination?

6. Kaycee Feild - Bucking Cancer Chaps

After his father was diagnosed with and subsequently passed away from cancer, Kaycee decided to honor him in a big way — with a gorgeous pair of purple chaps. No matter where he rides, Lewis is with him.

7. Robson "Spider-Man" Aragao - Spiderweb Chaps

Robson embraces his nickname as the "Spider-Man" and even got some chaps and a vest done up with a fierce looking arachnid on them.

8. Richmond Champion - Cool Blue Chaps

Is there anything more classy than Richie's blue chaps? We think not. They sure seem to be good luck to him as he's having one of the best seasons of his life.

9. Zane Cook - Wile E. Coyote & RoadRunner Chaps

Besides the fact that this duo is one of our favorites from the Looney Tunes, the coyote finally caught the bird.

10. Travvy Smith - Back When They Bucked Chaps

You know how all the old cowboys complain about "Back When They Bucked?" Shoot, we guess it's true.

11. TFB Leather - Tasmanian Devil Chaps

Keeping with the Looney Tunes Theme, we're sure whoever is wearing these chaps is sure to spur his way into a whirlwind.
