Tie-down roper Tyson Durfey is still sitting in the number one spot at Rodeo Austin after nine performances of rodeo action. Durfey was up on night one of the half-million dollar rodeo and showed his veteran skills by laying down a 7.9 second run on a tougher pen of calves. 

Rodeo Austin is headed into the tenth performance tonight with the semifinals running this Thursday and Friday before the championship round on Saturday. See the full IN PROGRESS results courtesy of the PRCA.
