Walker Warkentin traveled 1,100 miles from Calmar, Alberta, Canada, to compete in the 2017 Junior NFR in Las Vegas.
The cowboy was invited to rope in the 13-and-under tie-down roping category after competing at a Roy Cooper roping in Texas in the summer.
