2017 NLBAF Championship Sunday Qualifiers
Championship Sunday at the National Little Britches Association Finals is upon us. This is the day the cowboys and cowgirls have worked towards for the past year. Championship Sunday is when the new National Champions are crowned and a new page in the history books is written.

National Little Britches Association Finals LIVE


SUNDAY -- July 9, 2017
  • 7 AM Second Round Awards
  • 8 AM Cowboy Church TBD
  • 9 AM Crowning of the Royalty -- Ribbon cutting ceremony with dignitaries
    • Introduce the 2016-2017 Youth Board
    • Introduce the 2016-2017 Adult Board Members
  • 10 AM RODEO PERFORMANCE- LIVE
    • Short Round Awards will be given in the arena following the event
  • 2 PM Finals and World Champion Winners
  • 10 PM All Golf carts must be returned
*Times are in Central Standard Time.

Short Round Qualifications:
  • 1st Round Time/Score + 2nd Round Time/Score = Top 10 to Short Round
  • 1st Round Points + 2nd Round Points + 5 Best Rodeo Points = Top 10 to Short Round
If any or all of the five based on points are already in the first 10 based on times/scores from the finals, it will drop down until there are at least 20 in the event. In case of tie at 15th place then the tie goes to the fastest combined time or highest combined score from the first two rounds.

Sunday's competition is a little different than the rest of the week, only 3 arenas will be used instead of four. Everything will be housed in the Lazy E arena, the covered arena will not be utilized.

The champions are crowned after the short round.

How Champions are determined:
  • 1st Round time/score + 2nd Round time/score + Short Round time/score= Finals Event Champion
  • 1st Round Points + 2nd Round Points+ Short Round Points + 5 Best Rodeo Points + Average Points = World Event Champion
  • 1st Round Points + 2nd Round Points + Short Round Points + Average Points = Finals All Around Champion
  • 1st Round Points + 2nd Round Points + Short Round Points + Average Points + 5 Best All Around Rodeo Points = World All Around Champion

Championship Sunday is where dreams are made and contestants are sure to leave it all on the line in hopes of winning it all.
